There is a full programme of games across all three divisions of the Munster Junior League as well as one fourth round Munster Junior Cup tie.

Kanturk’s busy season continues as their 4th Round Junior Cup tie at home to U.L. Bohemian has been brought forward to this weekend on account of it clashing with their All Ireland Junior cup semi final tie at the end of the month. U.L. winners of the trophy in 2009 and 2010 are sure to push the Duhallow side all the way.

In Division 1, leaders and defending champions Richmond will be looking to extend their lead as they travel to East Cork to take on Cobh Pirates. With their nearest challengers Kanturk occupied elsewhere the Limerick side can extend their advantage and move a step closer towards their third title in four seasons.

Clonmel entertain Kilfeacle in a Tipperary derby with both sides still battling to finish in the top four and qualification for next year’s All Ireland Junior Cup.

Old Christians will be looking to make the most of home advantage in a bid to maintain their top flight status as they welcome third-placed Skibbereen to Rathcooney.

Struggling Crosshaven face a tricky task in their battle against the drop as they take on Newcastle West at the South Cork venue. The West Limerick side who are playing in the top flight for the first time will be looking to bounce back from last week’s home defeat to St. Mary’s.

Bottom side Clanwilliam, who recorded their first win of the campaign against Cobh at the Tipperary Town venue face a tough away tie against Tralee.

St. Senan’s will be aiming to take another step towards safety as they welcome Galbally to Jimmy Slattery Park and St. Mary’s are seeking to make the most of home advantage as they take on struggling Waterpark at Corbally.

In Division 2, the two promoted sides Carrick-on-Suir and Dungarvan go head to head in their basement clash at the Tipperary venue and nothing less than maximum points will be a welcome boost for Carrick in their bid to avoid a quick return to Division 3.

Leaders Muskerry are way to Kinsale and second-placed Mallow entertain Ennis at St Joseph’s Road. The North Cork side, who narrowly missed out on promotion last year, will be looking make home advantage count in their quest for a first promotion to the top flight.

Third-placed Castleisland put their outside promotion challenge on the line as they face a tricky task away to Presentation at Rathuard. The Limerick side, who are in mid-table, will be looking to build on last week’s surprise win over Old Crescent in the Junior Cup.

Newport take on third-placed Killarney at the Tipperary venue in a repeat pairing of the 2011 Junior Plate decider which the Kingdom side won. A win for the Tipperary side will guarantee their safety and end Killarney’s outside promotion chances.

Struggling Thurles, who are looking to avoid a second successive relegation as they face a tricky task as they take on Bandon at Old Chapel.

Third Division leaders Killorglin will be looking to extend their lead as they take on Charleville, who are still seeking their first win of the campaign, at the North Cork venue.

Second-placed Waterford City, who are also in the Martin O’Sullivan Cup final, have a home tie against bottom side Corca Dhuibhne and will be looking to collect maximum points.

Ballincollig entertain Douglas in the Cork derby at Tanner Park and ‘Collig will be looking to build on last week’s home win over Bandon in the Junior Cup and end the South Cork side’s outside chances of promotion.

There are also two mid-table encounters involving Clare sides. Kilrush entertain Dunmanway-Bantry Bay at the West Clare venue and Scariff are away to Abbeyfeale.
