The Bank of Ireland Munster Senior Challenge Cup continues this weekend with the quarter-finals down for decision.

Holders Garryowen begin their defence of the trophy with a home tie against 2010 winners Young Munster in a Limerick City derby at Dooradoyle on Friday evening.

On Saturday, 2017 winners Cork Constitution, get their campaign underway against UCC, who last won the trophy in 1981, at Temple Hill. Con’ have already defeated the students in the Cork Charity Cup Final.

Sunday’s Well, who defeated Bruff at Irish Independent Park in their opener, face a tricky task as they welcome Shannon to Leeside.

Killarney and Tralee get proceedings underway in Division 3 of the Munster Junior League at the East Kerry venue. Killarney, who were relegated after finishing bottom of Division 2 face a tough assignment against their neighbours who will be looking to climb out of this division at the second time of asking.

Transfield Cup holders Newcastle West take on Richmond in the second semi-final at the West Limerick venue. This is also a repeat pairing of last year’s decider and the winners will be meeting Abbeyfeale in the decider.

There are two Garryowen Cup quarter-finals down for decision. Thurles host Nenagh Ormond in a Tipperary derby and the winners will be rewarded with a home semi-final tie against Premier County neighbours Clonmel or Clanwilliam.

Waterpark entertain Galbally at Ballinakill and the winners will be at home to Kilfeacle or Cashel.

Garryowen and Richmond contest the McInerney Cup decider on the back pitch at Thomond Park on Saturday evening.

The Cork County Cup gets underway this weekend with Cobh Pirates and Bandon getting the show on the road at the Paddocks on Saturday evening. The winners will be rewarded with a home semi-final against Clonakilty or holders Kanturk, who lock horns in a repeat of last season’s decider, at the Vale.

Mallow entertain Crosshaven at St Joseph’s Road and the winners will be at home to Youghal or Skibbereen, who go head to head at the East Cork venue.

In the O’Neill Cup, Dunmanway travel to Ballyanly to take on Muskerry and the winners will be away to Charleville in the semi-finals.

Ballincollig entertain Old Christians at Tanner Park and the winners will be at home to Kinsale or Fermoy, who go head to head in Kinsale.

On Friday evening, last season’s Dennehy Cup finalists Mallow, who were defeated by Cork Constitution, will be looking to go one better as they take on Midleton in the decider at Woodleigh Park.

Muskerry and Fermoy lock horns in the Semi-Final of the O’Sullivan (Muskerry Cup) at Ballyanly on Saturday evening.
