The only games involving Munster clubs in the All Ireland League this weekend are in Division 1A, while there is also a full programme of games across all three divisions of the Munster Junior League.
On Friday evening, Young Munster, who were defeated 23-10 by Shannon last time out, welcome UCC to Tom Clifford Park.
The Students, who have two bonus points to their credit, are seeking their first win in the top flight.
The game of the day on Saturday sees third-placed Garryowen travelling to the Capital to take on second-placed Clontarf, with both sides putting their unbeaten starts of the campaign on the line.
Leaders Cork Constitution welcome Dublin University to Temple Hill. The Lilywhites will be expected to get a result against the Dublin Students who are seeking their first win after drawing their derby game against UCD and claiming a losing bonus point against Garryowen.
Shannon, who recorded their first win back in the top flight against Young Munster last time out, travel to Dublin to take on bottom side Terenure College at Lakelands Park.
Castleisland welcome Youghal to the Kingdom in Division 2 of the Munster Junior League on Saturday. The Kerry side will be looking to make it two wins out of two following their bonus point home win over Ballincollig on the opening weekend of the campaign, while Youghal claimed a losing bonus point against Fermoy last time out.
Division 1 leaders Richmond are away to fifth-placed Newcastle West on Sunday. Richmond, who have recorded two maximum point wins should prove too strong for the home side who claimed full points from their opener against Kanturk.
Defending champions Bandon are in West Limerick to take on Abbeyfeale, who are seeking their first League win.
Skibbereen will be expected to claim all points on offer from their Cork derby against Kanturk at the Carbery Showgrounds, with the Duhallow side seeking their first points.
Former champions Clonmel, who are fourth, travel to the Banner County to take on St Senan’s. The South Tipperary side will be looking to maintain their unbeaten start to the campaign, following victories over Clanwilliam and Abbeyfeale.
Crosshaven welcome Kilfeacle to South Cork and the Seasiders will be looking to make it two wins out of two, while the Tipperary side claimed a losing bonus point from their opener against St Senan’s.
St Mary’s, who have two losing bonus points to their credit are away to Galbally, who were defeated by Skibbereen in West Cork in their opener.
Waterpark entertain Clanwilliam at Ballinakill, with both sides entering the tie on zero points.
There are three Cork derbies in Division 2 on Sunday.
Leaders Mallow lock horns with second-placed Kinsale at St Joseph’s Road. The North Cork side recorded maximum point victories over Muskerry and Fethard, while the Seasiders bonus point win was also against Fethard.
Charleville and Ballincollig go head to head at Smith’s Road with both sides tied on four points.
Muskerry and Fermoy, who both recorded victories over Youghal, are in action at Ballyanly.
Thurles, who are surprisingly hovering above the drop zone, will have their work cut out as they entertain Clonakilty, who recorded a maximum point away win over Fermoy in their opener.
Third-placed Old Christians will be expected to collect all points on offer from their trip to South Tipperary to take on bottom side Fethard and Cobh Pirates travel to Suirside to take on Waterford City.
Division 3 leaders Mitchelstown, who have two bonus point wins to their credit, travel to Mid Kerry to take on Killorglin.
Second-placed Tralee will be looking to maintain their challenge as they are away to Bantry Bay.
Ennis, who recorded a maximum point home win in their opener against Chorca Dhuibhne, travel to East Kerry to take on Killarney and Dungarvan will be looking to claim all points on offer from their home meeting with Scariff.
Two sides seeking their first points go head to head as Douglas-Carrigaline host Dunmanway.
