There is a full programme of games this weekend in the All Ireland League.
Proceedings in the All Ireland League get underway with two Munster derbies in Division 2A on Friday night.
Second–placed Cashel welcome fifth-placed UL Bohemian to the Premier County with both sides coming off the back of victories last time out against Blackrock College and Queen’s University respectively.
Old Crescent who climbed out of the drop zone following their narrow 13-12 away win over Galwegians are at home to Nenagh Ormond, with the North Tipperary side having moved up to sixth place following their 24-23 in over Dolphin.
All five Munster sides in Division 1A are in action against Dublin opposition.
The game of the day sees table-toppers Clontarf locking horns with second-placed Cork Constitution at Castle Avenue. The Temple Hill side claimed maximum points from their last encounter against UCD at Belfield while Clontarf ran out 37-22 away winners over UCC.
UCC are second from bottom and still seeking their first win in the top flight. They face a tough assignment as they entertain Dublin University at the Mardyke in their annual Colours game. The Leesiders were defeated 37-22 by Clontarf last time out, while Dublin University have climbed up to fourth following their 31-19 home win over Shannon.
Shannon face a tricky task as they slipped to fifth following their recent defeat by Trinity as they welcome defending champions Lansdowne to Thomond Park. The Dublin side have climbed up to third after defeating bottom side Terenure College.
Garryowen travel to the Capital to take on Terenure College, who are propping up the table, with the Sky Blues aiming to build on their recent Limerick derby win over Young Munster.
Young Munster are hovering above the drop zone and they go head to head with UCD, who are sixth at Tom Clifford Park.
In Division 2A, leaders Highfield who moved into pole position following their maximum point home win over Navan should prove too strong for bottom side Galwegians at Woodleigh Park.
Dolphin have slipped into the drop zone following their narrow defeat by Nenagh Ormond and they take on Blackrock College, who are two places above them at Irish Independent Park.
Sunday’s Well face a tough assignment in Division 2B as they travel to County Wicklow to take on Greystones. The Leesiders are fifth and go into the tie on the back of successive defeats by MU Barnhall and Wanderers, while Greystones are second, following their 36-0 away win over Belfast Harlequins.
Division 2C leaders Midleton make the long trip to North Mayo for their top of the table clash with second-placed Ballina. Midleton hold a one-point lead over Ballina with both sides entering the tie on the back of bonus point wins over Thomond and Seapoint respectively.
Third-placed Bruff will be looking to make the most of home advantage count as they welcome fourth-placed Omagh Academicals to Kilballyowen Park and struggling Thomond are away to City of Derry.
