The All Ireland League continues with a full programme of games across all five divisions.
The game of the day in Division 1A sees Cork Constitution going head to head with Clontarf at Castle Avenue.
This is a repeat of last season’s decider which the Lilywhites won on a 28-13 score line and they also defeated the Dublin side in both of last season’s group games.
Both sides recorded single point victories over Limerick opposition in their openers, with Clontarf defeating Young Munster 7-6 at Tom Clifford Park and Cork Constitution running out 14-13 home winners over Garryowen.
Leaders UCC welcome promoted Ballynahinch to the Mardyke. The Leeside Students go into the tie on the back of a maximum point 30-20 away win over Dublin University, while the County Down side claimed a losing bonus point against Terenure College.
The two Limerick sides in this division, who claimed losing bonus points from their respective openers, are in action against Dublin opposition.
Young Munster, who were defeated 7-6 by Clontarf, face a tough assignment as they travel to the Capital to take on Terenure College at Lakelands Park, with the home side having recorded a 22-19 away win over Ballynahinch.
Garryowen will have their work cut out as they entertain Lansdowne, who ran out 33-3 winners over UCD at the Aviva Stadium.
Division 1B leaders Highfield, who defeated Malone 27-6 at Woodleigh Park, are in action against Ulster opposition for the second successive weekend as they make the long trip north to County Down to take on Banbridge, who are seeking their first points.
Shannon travel to Belfast to take on Malone at Gibson Park. The Limerick side claimed a losing bonus point from their opener against Old Belvedere, while Malone are on zero points.
In Division 2A, two sides on maximum points go head to head in the Premier County as Cashel welcome MU Barnhall to the Spafield for their top of the table clash. The Tipperary side ran out 25-9 winners over Dolphin in their opener at Irish Independent Park and MU Barnhall defeated Ballymena 36-7 in County Kildare.
Old Crescent, who also claimed maximum points from their opener in which they defeated UL Bohemian 32-8, host Dolphin, who are seeking their first points, following their 25-9 defeat by Cashel.
Nenagh Ormond, following their 22-17 home win over Rainey Old Boys, are away to bottom side Ballymena and UL Bohemian are away to Queen’s University who ran out 24-6 away winners over Buccaneers in their opener.
Following their narrow 19-18 away win over City of Derry in Division 2C, Bruff welcome Enniscorthy to Kilballyowen Park, with the County Wexford side going in to the tie on the back of a 22-3 home win over Midleton in their AIL debut last time out.
Clonmel, who marked their debut with an 18-18 draw against Omagh in South Tipperary, travel to Leeside to take on Sunday’s Well, who are seeking their first points following their 25-13 opening day defeat by Bangor.
Midleton are also on zero points and will have their work cut out as they entertain Bangor at Towns Park.
There is also a full programme of games across all three divisions of the Munster Junior League.
Proceedings get underway at the Carbery Showgrounds on Saturday evening as Skibbereen entertain Crosshaven. The West Cork side will be looking to make the most of home advantage count in bid to bounce back from their heavy defeat by Newcastle West, while Crosshaven recorded their first win last time out against Waterpark.
Early pacesetters Mallow will be looking to make it three wins out of three as they take on St Senan’s in North Cork. The Clare side, who have a game in hand, claimed a losing bonus point from their opener against Skibbereen in West Cork.
Newcastle West are away to Galbally and should prove too strong for their County Limerick neighbours, who have a game in hand and a losing bonus point to their credit from their opener against Abbeyfeale.
Kilfeacle are at home to Clanwilliam in a big West Tipperary derby. Kilfeacle will be looking to maintain their unbeaten run while Clanwilliam claimed their first points from their 16-16 home draw against Clonakilty.
Unbeaten Clonakilty face tricky task as they welcome Abbeyfeale to the Vale. Clonakilty were held to a 16-16 draw by Clanwilliam in Tipperary Town last time out, while Abbeyfeale claimed a losing bonus point against Mallow.
Richmond will be looking to bounce back from their defeat by Thomond as they entertain former champions Bandon, who have one losing bonus point after two defeats.
Two former AIL are in action as Thomond welcome Waterpark, who are the only side on zero points, to Liam Fitzgerald Park.
The game of the day in Division 2 is the top of the table clash between St Mary’s and Dungarvan at Grove Island, with both sides going into the tie on the back of two victories apiece.
There are two Cork derbies this weekend.
Kinsale are in action against Rebel County opposition for the third successive weekend as they take on Ballincollig at Tanner Park. Ballincollig will be looking to make the most of home advantage following their 30-15 away defeat by Dungarvan, while Kinsale go into the tie on the back of a maximum point home win over Cobh Pirates.
Cobh Pirates, who are propping up the table, face a tough assignment in a bid to claim their first points as they welcome unbeaten Old Christians to the Paddocks.
The two Kerry sides are on zero points and both are in action against North Cork opposition as Castleisland entertain Charleville and Tralee are away to Fermoy.
Kanturk will be looking to continue their good start to the campaign as they welcome Fethard to Duhallow and Muskerry are at home to Thurles.
In Division 3, leaders Ennis will be looking to maintain their unbeaten run as they travel to the West Kerry Gaeltacht to take on Chorca Dhuibhne, who recorded a narrow 22-18 away win over Killarney in their only game to date.
Bantry Bay will be looking to make the most of home advantage count in a bid to bounce back from their 28-10 defeat by Waterford City on Suirside as they entertain Mitchelstown, who have a losing bonus point to their credit. This game also doubles up as their opening game in the Martin O’Sullivan Cup.
Killorglin welcome Scariff to Mid Kerry with both sides coming off the back of victories over Mitchelstown and Youghal respectively.
Killarney, who have two losing bonus points from their two games to date, will be looking to record their first win as they entertain Dunmanway, with the West Cork side having run out 27-10 winners over Douglas-Carrigaline.
Douglas-Carrigaline will have their work cut out as they go in search of their first points against Waterford City, who recorded a maximum point home win over Bantry Bay.
