There is a full programme of games in the Women’s All Ireland League and the Munster Junior League this weekend.
Womens’ AIL leaders UL Bohemian will be looking to make it five wins from five as they welcome fourth-placed Cooke to the 4G at UL.
There are two games on Saturday evening in the Munster Junior League.
Fifth-placed Crosshaven welcome seventh-placed Clonakilty to Myrtleville Cross for their Rebel County derby in Division One. The South Cork side, who are through to the semi-finals of the All Ireland Junior Cup, ran out 21-15 away winners over Mallow in their last League game. Clonakilty claimed a losing bonus point from their narrow 21-20 home defeat by Newcastle West.
Youghal and Douglas-Carrigaline go head to head in a basement clash in Division Three in East Cork.
On Sunday, the game of the day in Division One of the Munster Junior League is the meeting of early pacesetters Newcastle West, who are second and new leaders Kilfeacle in West Limerick.
Kilfeacle’s bonus point win against St Senan’s last time out has moved them one point clear of Newcastle West, who recorded a narrow 21-20 away win over Clonakilty.
Third-placed Thomond, who claimed maximum points against Clanwilliam are away to Abbeyfeale. The West Limerick side claimed a losing bonus point from their 18-14 away defeat by Richmond.
Fourth-placed Mallow will be looking to get back to winning ways following their 21-15 home defeat by Crosshaven, from which they claimed a losing bonus point, as they travel to West Cork to take on Skibbereen. The West Cork side are two places above the drop zone and go into the tie on the back of a 6-6 draw against Galbally in County Limerick.
Richmond make the relatively short trip to the Banner County to take on St Senan’s, who are propping up the table on a solitary losing bonus point, which was claimed from their opening day defeat by Skibbereen in West Cork. Richmond go into the tie on the back of an 18-14 home win over Abbeyfeale, while the Clare side were defeated 34-12 by Kilfeacle in West Tipperary.
Bandon, who ran out 26-21 home winners over Waterpark last time out, travel to Tipperary Town to take on Clanwilliam, with the Tipperary side seeking their first win following their 26-11 defeat by Thomond in Limerick.
Waterpark, who claimed a losing bonus point from their 26-21 defeat by Bandon in West Cork are at home to Galbally. The Suirsiders are hovering above the drop zone on six points, while the County Limerick side are on eight points following their 6-6 home draw with Skibbereen.
There are three Cork derbies in and one Tipperary derby in Division Two.
Unbeaten leaders Old Christians welcome Kanturk, who are joint second with Muskerry and Dungarvan to Rathcooney, with both sides going into the tie on the back of victories over St Mary’s and Kinsale respectively.
Second-placed Muskerry are away to Mid Cork neighbours Ballincollig. The Sky Blues recorded an 18-3 home win over Charleville, while Ballincollig were held to a 10-10 draw by Cobh Pirates.
Early leaders Dungarvan will be looking to get back to winning ways following their 28-22 away defeat by Fermoy, from which they collected a losing bonus point, as they welcome struggling Castleisland to West Waterford. The Kerry side claimed their first points of the campaign from their 13-13 home draw against Fethard.
Kinsale face a tough assignment as they welcome Fermoy to South Cork. The Seasiders claimed a losing bonus point against Kanturk last time out, while Fermoy will be looking to maintain their promotion challenge as they ended Dungarvan’s unbeaten run.
Bottom side Cobh Pirates, who claimed their first points from their 10-10 draw with Ballincollig at Tanner Park, entertain St Mary’s, who were defeated 30-19 by Old Christians in Limerick.
Fethard, who are hovering above the drop zone on four points, will have their work cut out in a bid to record their first win as they entertain Premier County neighbours Thurles. The Mid Tipperary side go into the tie on the back of a comprehensive 54-7 home win over Tralee.
There is a top of the table clash in Division Three between Waterford City and Ennis on Suirside. The Clare side are unbeaten with four wins from four and they claimed maximum points from their 55-3 home win over Dunmanway. The Suirsiders, whose only defeat was against Killorglin in the Kingdom in October, defeated Chorca Dhuibhne 12-5 in the West Kerry Gaeltacht last time out.
Killorglin, who are unbeaten in second place following their 28-8 away win over Youghal, are at home to Bantry Bay, with the West Cork side claimed a losing bonus point from their last game which they lost on a 9-7 score line against Mitchelstown in Bantry.
Fourth-placed Mitchelstown face Kerry opposition for the second successive weekend as they entertain Chorca Dhuibhne. The North Cork side defeated Killarney 13-12 in East Kerry last time out, while Chorca Dhuibhne were defeated 12-5 by Waterford City in Ballydavid.
Scariff and Killarney meet in East Clare for the second successive weekend, following their Martin O’Sullivan Cup quarter-final tie which was won by the Kerry side on a 21-17 score line. Killarney claimed a losing bonus point on home soil from their last League game against Mitchelstown, while the Banner County side claimed maximum points against Douglas-Carrigaline on Leeside.
