Weekend Preview
16th January 2020 By Leonard Allen
It is a quiet weekend owing to Munster’s Champions Cup game with Ospreys at Thomond Park on Sunday.
In the Women’s All Ireland League, runaway leaders UL Bohemian will be looking to continue their winning run as they entertain Railway Union at 4G UL.
The Limerick side go into the tie on the back of a 29-14 maximum point away win over Old Belvedere and they ran out 24-10 winners when they met Railway Union in Dublin at the end of November.
The only game in the Munster Junior League is the meeting of Galbally and Richmond in Division One.
Richmond are looking to maintain their challenge for a top-four finish following their 23-12 home win over Skibbereen form which they claimed maximum points.
Galbally are hovering above the drop zone and are four points clear of Skibbereen.
The County Limerick side claimed their fourth losing bonus point form their narrow 19-16 defeat by leaders Kilfeacle in West Tipperary.
Galbally claimed maximum points form their only win to date when they defeated St Senan’s 29-17 in Clare in late October.
