Weekend Preview and Fixtures

The Charity Cups in Cork and Limerick continue this weekend.

There are two quarter finals down for decision in the Cork Charity Cup as Sunday’s Well take on Cork Constitution at Musgrave Park on Thursday evening, 6.30 kick off.

Holders Dolphin continue their quest for three-in-a- row as they travel to the Premier County on Saturday to take on Cashel at the Spafield.

There is a full series of quarter finals down for decision in the Limerick Charity Cup on Saturday, holders UL Bohemian entertain Bruff at Annacotty.

Old Crescent welcome Thomond to Rosbrien and Shannon are at home to Nenagh Ormond and the home side will take nothing for granted after Nenagh’s surprise 24-22 win over Garryowen.

Richmond play the first competitive match of their return to Senior ranks as they take on Young Munster at Tom Clifford Park and this game goes ahead next Tuesday with a 6.45 kick off.

There is one game in the Garryowen Cup with Clanwilliam entertaining Nenagh Ormond.

In South Munster, the Dennehy Cup gets underway with a full programme of games.

Holders Dolphin begin their defence of the trophy with an away tie against 2011 winners Old Christians at Rathcooney.

Muskerry Cup holders Mitchelstown get their second successive season at Junior 2 Level underway with a North Cork derby tie against Mallow at St Joseph’s Road.

Paul Twomey Cup holders Kinsale entertain Clonakilty at the South Cork venue and Cork Transport take on Sunday’s Well at Musgrave Park.

Two East Cork sides have home advantage as Midleton entertain Muskerry at Towns Park a game that is put back to next Wednesday and Cobh Pirates welcome Highfield to the Paddocks.

Cork Constitution have a home tie against Ballincollig and Bandon make the long trip to Duhallow to take on Kanturk.
