Weekend Preview | Donal Walsh Cup Decider & Junior Club Action

It’s a relatively quiet weekend with just two Junior games and the Donal Walsh Cup and Plate finals down for decision.

See all fixture details here.

There are also a handful of games in various South Munster Competitions at Junior 2 and Junior 3 levels.

Munster Junior League champions Clonmel, who won their fourth title in five years, begin their quest to qualify for the All Ireland League and attain senior status as they welcome Connacht champions and former AIL side Connemara to South Tipperary.

The Munster Junior Bowl final is down for decision as Dunmanway take on Ennis at Smith’s Road in Charleville on Sunday.

UCC take on Garryowen in the Donal Walsh Under 20 Cup decider in Tralee, with the Students looking to retain the trophy in a repeat pairing of last year’s decider.

This is preceded by the Donal Walsh Under 20 Plate final between UL Bohemian and Bruff.

Two big semi-finals in the All Ireland U18 and U16 League take place at Rosbrien on Saturday as Skibbereen U18s take on Ballinasloe at 2pm with Bandon U16s facing Ballina at 4pm.

Elsewhere there is action at Junior 2 level in South Munster in the Kelly Cup and the Dave Dineen Cup and at Junior 3 level in the McCarthy Cup and the Tait Cup.
