Plenty of action in the All Ireland League and Munster Junior League
Cork Constitution maintained their unbeaten run in Division 1A of the All Ireland League with a 32-19 home win over Young Munster.
Garryowen defeated Dolphin 45-27 at Dooradoyle. The winners scored six tries
Shannon crashed at Templeville Road losing to St. Mary’s College 53-0.
In Division 1B U.L. Bohemian defeated Lansdowne 19-9 at Annacotty where Barry Murphy made a return to action and scored one of the home side’s four tries.
Bruff recorded their first win with five penalties from Brian Cahill for a 15-13 win over U.C.C. at the Mardyke.
In Division 2 Midleton were the only Munster side to win when they ended Malone’s unbeaten run at the Towns Park. Troy Smith scored two tries for the winners.
Old Crescent lost at home to Queen’s University 28-20.
Both Thomond and Clonakilty are still pointless. Thomond lost away to Terenure College 25-7 and Ballynahinch defeated Clonakilty 34-8.
Sunday’s Well made it three wins from three with a 36-31 victory over unbeaten Seapoint.
Highfield made it a winning trip to Maherafelt with a 23-6 win over Rainey Old Boys.
Suttonians and Nenagh Ormond shared the spoils after a 10-10 draw.
Cashel remain on top of Division 1 of the Munster Junior League after a 41-10 away win over Cobh Pirates.
Crosshaven and Richmond maintained their challenge with big wins over St Senan’s 39-7 and Ballincollig 41-7.
The big upset was Waterpark losing away to Thurles 32-7.
Tralee got back to winning ways with a 28-9 home win over Skibbereen.
Old Christians recorded their first win with a 39-8 home win over Kilfeacle and a second half converted try gave Clanwilliam a 13-6 victory over Clonmel.
It is as you were in Division 2 with Galbally and Killarney sharing top spot.
Galbally defeated Youghal under lights on Saturday 18-8 and an injury time try by Brian O’Sullivan earned Killarney an 11-9 away win over St. Mary’s.
Kanturk defeated Muskerry 17-11 and a try in each half gave Newcastle West a 10-0 away win over Bandon.
Mallow defeated Ennis 25-22 and Castleisland got into the chasing pack with maximum points from their trip to Charleville.
Kinsale got their first win with a 33-26 home win over Newport.
Scariff are the new leaders in Division 3 after their 27-13 away win over Bantry Bay.
Fermoy defeated Dungarvan 14-10 to move into second place.
Waterford City shared the spoils at home to Abbeyfeale with a Len Power last minute try earning them an 18-18 draw.
Carrick-on-Suir ended Corca Dhuibhne’s unbeaten record with a 33-20 home victory.
Presentation made it two wins from two with a late rally giving them a 41-12 away win over Shandon and Killorglin also picked up maximum points following their 31-0 home win over Kilrush.
Cork Constitution retained their Dennehy Cup title at Woodleigh Park with a 13-7 victory over Ballincollig.
