UL Bohemian remain top of the All Ireland Women’s League as Kilfeacle won the top of the table clash in Division 1 of the Munster Junior League.

UL Bohemian made it five wins from five with a 46-10 home win over Cooke at the 4GUL to remain top of the All Ireland League on points difference from Railway Union whom they face next week at Park Avenue.

They scored eight tries with Eimear Considine and Stephanie Nunan scoring two tries each and Clodagh O’Halloran, Chloe Pearse, Claire Bennett, and Ciara Griffin getting one each. Nicole Fitzgerald kicked three conversions.

 

Kilfeacle have now opened up a four point lead in Division 1 of the Munster Junior League approaching the half way mark following their 22-21 away win at Newcastle West.

James Ryan and Jack McLoughlin scored tries for Kilfeacle and Willie Staunton kicked a conversion and a penalty. They were also awarded a penalty try. The home side responded with tries from Eoin O’Halloran and Brian O’Sullivan. Sean Herlihy kicked three penalties and a conversion.

Mallow got back to winning ways with a 26-7 bonus point win at Skibbereen. Ken Mills, Timmy Fitzgerald, Michael Lenihan and Conor O’Donovan scored tries for Mallow and Jimmy Glynn kicked three conversions. Rory Byrne scored a try for the home side and Jack O’Driscoll converted.

Mallow have now moved ahead of Thomond into third place six points behind the leaders after Thomond lost 17-10 away to Abbeyfeale. Michael Roche scored a try for Abbeyfeale and Derry O’Connor kicked four penalties. Richie Ryan replied with a try for Thomond and Adam Guerin kicked a conversion and a penalty.

Crosshaven continued their recent good run with a 16-8 home win over Clonakilty as they battle for a top four finish. Jason Brady was Crosshaven’s try scorer and Cian McGovern converted and added three penalties. Victor Lovell replied with a try for Clonakilty and Eoghan Deasy kicked a penalty.

Clanwilliam won their first game of the campaign with a 19-10 home win over Bandon. Jack O’Dwyer, Karl Keogh and Bryan O’ Rahelly scored tries for the Tipperary side and Niall Leahy converted two of the tries. Gearoid O’Leary scored a try for Bandon and Marcos Langleyze kicked a conversion and a penalty.

Richmond defeated bottom side St. Senan’s 24-7 with Shane Halpin scoring two tries for the winners and Sean Bennett and Barry Laffan getting one each. Brian Mullins kicked two conversions. Senan’s were awarded a penalty try late in the game.

Waterpark eased their relegation worries with a 12-9 home win over Galbally. Alex Molloy kicked four penalties for the winners and Liam Casey replied with three for the visitors.

Old Christians came from 6-0 down at half time to defeat Kanturk 14-9 in their top of the table clash in Division 2. Craig O’Connell and James Ahern scored tries for the winners and John Marnell converted both. Paul O’Keeffe kicked two penalties for Kanturk and Conor Cremin one.

Muskerry defeated Ballincollig 21-0 at Musgrave Park with tries from Liam O’Donovan, Rob O’Mahony and Philip O’Callaghan. Robert Cahill converted all three tries to see them move into third place a point behind Dungarvan who defeated Castleisland 43-3.

Maurice Daly scored three tries For Dungarvan and Dave Hickey, Daniel Slevin, Shane Norris and Matthew Henley got one each. Hickey kicked four conversions.

Three second half tries from David Kingston proved crucial for Kinsale as they defeated Fermoy 22-7 at Snugmore. A try by Philip Walters converted by Sean Kingston brought Kinsale level at half time after Tom Murphy gave Fermoy the lead with a try which Eddie O’Connell converted.

Cobh Pirates lost at home to St. Mary’s 15-10 but the losing bonus point picked up sees Cobh move off the bottom of the table. Darragh Kerley scored two tries for the Saints and Jazz Pendejito kicked a conversion and a penalty.

The Fethard v Thurles game was postponed.

In Division Three Killorglin have gone back to the top of the table after their 17-10 hard earned home win over Bantry Bay after the top of the table clash in this Division between Waterford City and Ennis had to be postponed.

Josh Morell scored two tries for Killorglin and Luke O’Shea converted both and added two penalties. Tom Ferron replied with a try for Bantry and Danny Hutchinson added a conversion and a penalty.

Mitchelstown defeated Chorca Dhuibhne 24-0 with tries from Josh Evans, Euan Dunne and Pat McGee, with McGee kinging three conversions and a penalty.

Scariff defeated Killarney 13-5 where Josh Fawcett scored a try for the Kerry side.

The bottom of the table clash in this Division resulted in a 22-0 bonus point win for Youghal over Douglas-Carrigaline at the east Cork venue. Tristan Hennessy, Alan Frahill-O’Connor, Billy Hynes and Kelvin Yellop scored tries for Youghal and Jonathon Ormond added a conversion.
