Garrett Walsh and John Morath scored tries after the break to bring the Kerry side into the game and both were converted by Walsh, but the Ulster side held on for a quarter final tie away to Sligo who defeated Tullamore 19-11.

A week Clonmel side were no match for Skerries as they lost away 59-5 to the only Leinster side to make it to the quarter finals. It was 17-0 to the home side at half time and four tries in the final five minutes by Skerries did not give a true reflection of the game. John Long was Clonmel’s try scorer.

The quarter final draw which is scheduled for 27th November is –

Dromore v Crosshaven,
Cooke v Skerries,
Sligo v Armagh.
