Munster Rugby recently ran a ‘Players and Parents’ evening for the West Munster Cadets and Regional Development Squad in Tralee RFC.
The objective of the evening was to give a detailed overview of the players’ eight week summer training programme and to outline their upcoming autumn and winter schedule.
Munster Rugby’s coaching staff discussed their role in developing the young players’ skills and fitness levels as well as working in conjunction with Munster’s Strength and Conditioning department.
Jay Galvin, Team Manager, spoke on the importance of communication between the players, parents and the Munster Rugby professional staff and thanked all involved for their support.
Following a 22 week programme in total West Munster will compete against the North, South and East Regional Development Squads in a round robin series scheduled to commence in February 2012.
