Women’s AIL Round-Up
8th December 2014 By Munster Rugby
Sunday proved to be a hugely disappointing day for Munster’s three women’s sides in action as they all suffered defeat.
UL Bohemian's AIL Division 1 challenge ended at the semi-final stage as they were beaten 29-0 by Old Belvedere at Anglesea Road.
Old Belvedere had topped the table with seven wins from eight games and will now face Blackrock in the final next Saturday.
Tralee were very unlucky to lose the relegation play-off at Templeville Road as a late St. Mary's try snatched a 17-12 win.
Christine Arthurs and Ciara Griffin crossed for Tralee with Laura O'Mahony adding a conversion.
The Tralee Ladies had suffered a 15-0 defeat at home to the same opposition last week and can hold their heads high having produced a much improved display.
Division 2 South winners Shannon faced Ulster's Cooke RFC in the Division 2 semi-final but couldn't continue their superb league form as they were comprehensively beaten 64-5.
