Women’s Coaching Course

Munster Rugby recently held a foundation level coaching course for female coaches in the University of Limerick.

Over 20 coaches attended the two day course with a vast amount of experience on offer, with attendees coming from both playing and teaching backgrounds.

The workshop covered all aspects of the game from backline attack to scrum and line out along with session planning and fitness of the young player.

The practical modules allowed participants to experience the game and this interaction created a greater awareness of what is expected from players in varying positions and also highlighted player safety.
