Women’s Rugby Training Camp In Finland

Noel O’Meara, Munster Rugby Coach Development Officer, recently visited a women’s rugby training camp in Finland as part of his IRB Educator role.

His brief was to spend two days assisting the ladies improve their knowledge and effectiveness in the area of General Movement.

These camps are held approximately once a month and are funded mostly by the players. Along with their national language, all the players spoke excellent English and Swedish.

Noel was extremely impressed by their dedication and effort throughout the duration as well as their very high level of skills which were also demonstrated over the two days.
