Women’s Sevens Rugby Trials

The IRFU will hold three Women’s Sevens Rugby Combine Trial sessions in England next month for Irish qualified players.
These sessions are aimed at identifying athletic talent with the potential to be selected to represent the Ireland Women Sevens programme within the World Rugby Women’s Sevens Series. The IRFU are keen to identify and develop Irish qualified athletes and to enhance the women's squad that is competing on the World Sevens Series and in their drive for Olympic qualification.
The Combine Trials will be open to any quality athlete, even those with no previous rugby experience. So, if you feel you have the athletic ability to perform on the world stage, are over 18 years of age and are Irish qualified* the IRFU would like you to apply. Applications will be informed if they have been invited to trial with further information of the day to follow.
Dates/Venues/Times
February 18 (Saturday) – University of Hertfordshire (1pm – 4pm)
February 19 (Sunday) –Nottingham Trent University (10:30am – 1:30pm)
February 25 (Saturday) – Hartpury College (10:30am – 1:30pm)
