Women’s Weekend Action

The Women’s AIL resumes this weekend with all three Munster Division 1 clubs in action.

Highfield, who are currently positioned second on the league table will travel to Crowley Park to take on Portlaoise on Sunday, 3rd November for a 1pm kick-off. The Cork side will be looking to close the four point gap behind leaders Old Belvedere who host fellow Dublin side St. Mary’s RFC on the same day.

Tralee will also be on the road this Sunday to face Blackrock at Stradbrook while current league title holders UL Bohemian host Galwegians at Annacotty, on Sunday kicking off at 1pm.

Division 2 South

After a free weekend in the AIL Division 2 South action resumes this weekend with Shannon travelling to New Ross with Young Munster making the short journey to Nenagh Ormond.

Development League Group A

Going into the third weekend of the development league both St Senans and Cobh Pirates remain unbeaten. This weekend Cobh welcome Thurles to The Paddocks and St Senans are away to Clonmel.

It is an all Waterford affair in the final game of the weekend with Dungarvan hosting Waterford City.

Development League Group B

It is a three way split at the top of the B group as Abbeyfeale, Bandon and Cashel are all on 5 points. It will be a historic week-end for Dolphin RFC when their ladies team take to the field of for the first time against Limerick side St Mary’s. Cashel coming off the back of a 24-19 win against Bandon are at home to Youghal while Abbeyfeale will make the trip to Bandon.
