View video below from last year’s tournament held at Shropshire, England.

Approximately 20 clubs will be represented throughout the home nations with an expected attendance of 1,500.

Over 400 players will take to the pitch on the day including Fergal McDermott who will compete for the Garryowen Lions and welcomes all rugby enthusiasts to come along and lend their support.

“My name is Fergal McDermott, I am from Limerick City and I play tag rugby with the Garryowen Lions.

I am part of the Daughters of Charity services. I was one of the first members of the Garryowen Lions from four years ago. We had about 12 members, we now have 32 team members. We train on Mondays. We are a mix of males and females and have lots of fun. Tag rugby is for everyone, no matter what your ability is. It is a great team sport where I have made lots of friends. Come see us play in Garryowen FC Saturday, 11th June for the Wooden Spoon International Disability Tag Festival.”
