A World Rugby Educator Course was held in Musgrave Park earlier this month.

The Continuous Professional Development (CPD) course is designed to assist the coach development educators within the Rugby Development and Rugby Participation departments of Munster Rugby.

The course will further assist those educators to further collaborate with staff across the various departments in Munster Rugby.

The topics covered throughout the course included the Role of the Educator, Feedback, Questioning and the R.E.V.I.E.W process and risk management.

The course was led by the IRFU’s National Training and Education Manager Colin Moran, the IRFU National Coach Development Manager Jamie Turkington and Munster Rugby Coach and Player Development Officer, Noel O’Meara.

Those attending the course included Munster Rugby’s new Rugby Development Officers, Athletic Development Coaches, Participation Officers and Club Community Rugby Officers (CCROs).

Post evaluation for accreditation will now take place.
