Young Muster advanced to the semi final of the Bank of Ireland Munster Senior Cup after a narrow win over U.L. Bohemian at Tom Clifford Park.
Young Munster 14, U.L. Bohemian 13.
In a tightly contested tie Young Munster had to survive a late surge from U.L. Bohemian before booking their place in the last four, where they will be away to the winners of the U.C.C. v Old Crescent tie.
Gearoid Lyons opened the scoring with a penalty for Munsters but Rick McKenna had the Robins level shortly after.
Four minutes before half time Lyons restored the Cookies lead with his second penalty but again the advantage only lasted two minutes as McKenna levelled for the visitors.
On the stroke of half time Lyons gave his side a 9-6 interval lead with his third penalty.
Ten minutes into the second half, scrum half Abrie Griesel scored a try for Munsters but a late rally by Bohes saw Joe Murray score a try which McKenna converted but the home side hung on for a semi final place.
