Young Munster Win Charity Cup

Young Munster clinched the Sporting Limerick Charity Cup for a record 26th time as they defeated Garryowen in the final at the Markets Field 40-6.
Young Munster have now moved one ahead of their arch rivals Garryowen on the winners leader board.
Clayton Stewart gave Young Munster the perfect start with a try after five minutes and Shane Airey converted.
John Hurley kept Garryowen in touch with two penalties but an Alan Kennedy try converted by Airey had Young Munster 14-6 ahead at half time.
The Cookies added four further tries in the second half to run out comfortable winners. Derek Corcoran, Stewart, Dan Walsh and Airey all crossed the line and Airey converted three of the tries.
