Young Scientist Presents Rugby Project

A Young Scientist Award winner recently visited the Munster Rugby Development Department to share his project findings.
Ryan McCarthy, a first year student from Kinsale Community School, won the Junior individual 3rd place prize at the Young Scientist Awards and presented his project to the group.
The project highlighted the importance of protective clothing and injury prevention in the game of rugby with Ryan outlining his background research, objectives, experimental approach, results and conclusions.
