‘Your Club, Your Country’ Winners Announced

Munster clubs Nenagh Ormond and Carrick-on-Suir sold two of the ten lucky winners’ tickets in the recent IRFU ‘Your Club, Your Country’ draw which was recently streamed live on www.IrishRugby.ie

The ‘Your Club, Your Country’ initiative was developed by the IRFU as a fundraising mechanism for rugby clubs in Ireland, whereby all eligible clubs were given the opportunity to sell tickets during the Rugby World Cup to participate in the top draw.

Nenagh Ormond sold the winning ticket of a12-seater box prize with full hospitality in the Aviva Stadium for Ireland’s international match against Italy in the upcoming 6 Nations fixture. The €;1,000 prize worth of Puma gear ‘spending spree’ was sold in Carrick-on-Suir RFC.

The ‘Your Club Your Country’ draw was designed to help clubs capitalise on the overall increased interest of the game during the recent Rugby World Cup series.

Each participating club was given 1,000 tickets with a value of €;10 per ticket, with the clubs retaining 100% of the ticket sales money.

Prizes for the grand draw were provided by the IRFU and its partners, thus enabling rugby clubs throughout the country to raise funds at no cost to the clubs.
