Youth Coaches Attend Affiliated Referee Course

At total of 62 Cork youth coaches took part in an Affiliated Referees Course last Monday night, 16th September, at Dolphin RFC.
The course was facilitated by Jerry Maher from the Association of Referees Leinster Branch and focussed on the new engagement sequence scrum laws along with general laws of the15 a-side game relevant to youth rugby.
Coaches who attended the course can now officiate youth games when a branch referee has not been appointed to a fixture.
Affiliated Referee Courses will also be held in Limerick, Clare and Kerry this September and October. For further details please visit www.munsterrugby.ie
