Munster A lost an 11-try thriller in Wales at the weekend as Scarlets secured a bonus-point vicrtory in the Celtic Cup.
After falling 24-0 down early on, Munster A battled back towards the end of the first half with three tries giving them a fighting chance as Scarlets led 32-21 at the interval.
The Munster scores came from a penalty try and a try apiece from Rob Hedderman and Jonathan Wren as Ben Healy kicked both conversions.
Scarlets steadied the ship after the break and kicked a penalty before scoring their fifth try to put the game beyond Munster’s reach.
Alex McHenry scored Munster’s fourth try late on but Scarlets scored again at the death to caap off the victory.
