Aoibhe started playing rugby at Minis level with Youghal RFC.

After attending a schools rugby blitz, she was invited to a trial for the Munster U18 Girls squad and after the break due to Covid, she made her Munster U18 debut.

Aoibhe moved to Limerick in 2021 where she played with UL Wolves and Shannon RFC before moving to UL Bohemian RFC in 2022.

O’Flynn earned her debut off the bench in round three of last season’s Interpros in the loss against Leinster at Energia Park.
