Kate Flannery started playing rugby in Kilfeacle RFC before moving to Fethard RFC while also playing with Rockwell College.

Flannery has represented Munster at U18 level and Ireland at U18 level in both XVs and 7s.

The Tipperary Women lined out for the Ireland U20s last summer.

This summer saw Flannery selected as vice-captain for the Ireland U20s side that travelled to Parma in June for the inaugural Women’s U20 Six Nations Series.
